hey

just finished another build. thought i crossed my t's and dotted my i's and didn't miss anything, but upon first boot im having some problems.

1. no bio beep (i switched the cable around just incase i put it backwards) huh?
2. no video
3. keyboard plugged into keyboard port, no light (for caps lock or anything to indicate its on)

other than that, everything powers up. light on motherboard is green and cdrom drive opens, all fans going, power switch works

any help troubleshooting the issue here? thanks in advance

upon further research im seeing others having issues:
http://forum.ncix.com/forums/i...count=15&overclockid=0
http://forum.ncix.com/forums/i...erclockid=0#msg1457280

im using the same ram thats in my sig. im reading some posts saying i should go into BIO and change voltages
ie:
changing DDR2 voltage to 1.9-2.1 from 1.8v fixed the problem
i have no idea how to do this, really never used the bios before at all other than boot order and stuff

i have a second computer i need to assemble, the one in my sig. if im reading this right, i could go into bios on that computer, change the voltages on the ram and then put them back into this AM2 system?

man i am so lost
