Help! Problem with video driver/card???

After installing the latest geforce driver from nVidia for my videocard, my monitor goes into standby right after logging into Windows. I am forced to reboot in Safe Mode and uninstall the driver. Any ideas??? I've already tested other monitors and previous drivers!

Haha looks like I have the same exact problem as you. I have an 8800GS and have yet to resolve the problem.
 
Try using driver cleaner to remove any nVidia drivers that may still exists. It kind of sounds like there might be multi-driver interference (if you will), could be wrong though.
 
I used driver sweeper in my case and it didn't work. I'm so fed up right now... fvcking mistake getting an NVIDIA card...
