I have done this before, but can't remember how to fix it. Somehow, I accidentally moved the bar at the bottom of the desktop (the one with the start button and sys tray) over to the right side (now vertical instead of horizontal). How can I move it back to the bottom of the screen? I'm using WinME.

hehe:)
I remember the first time I did that. It took me 5 minutes before I figured out how to get it back to the bottom. Now I kep it at the top all the time.

lol....imagine the tech support guy if you called him and asked him this question. he would roll over and die. i've had problems where there were simple answers too. i hate it when i overlook the simplest thing.

BiggieN,

I was that tech support guy once. It was not something related to my job but I thought I would be nice. She was so stupid it took me ten minutes to explain it to her. Now I just tell them to read the instructions or call Microsoft at 1-800-936-5700.(It's a pay number:))

I hate that SB Live bar too. Soo much, that I uninstalled the software and reinstalled without any of that extra crap in there. Too much fluff.

perry - you should have just disabled it in the startup ;)

(start --> run --> msconfig ---> startup)

Last time i did that (moving the taskbar to the top), I refomatted my HARDDRIVE...

After I reformatted, I reinstalled Windows incorrectly (i was really damn dumb at computers by this point) and reformatted it again

Stupid me!! :)

no, if you are smart enough to be using an NT-bases OS such as windows 2000, you don't need "msconfig" to hold you hand through editing your registry. :) :) :)
