HELP! Problem with changing HTT frequencys and lockup

Ok. I have a AMD 3500+ with a MSI K8N NEO2 Motherboard, and I just recently installed it with 1 512 mb crucial ballistix 3200 ram stick. When I go to the bios to change the HTT setting, it shows nothing, and then it locks up. Someone...HELP ME!!

I've tried reinstalling the bios 1.3 so far with no luck.

see if using an earlier bios works. newer ones sometimes still have bugs. if not maybe email msi.

*sigh* I guess I can try that. I was hoping if there would be a different way to fix this problem though haha.

I don't feel too safe overclocking without at least lowering the multiplier to 4x...and if I can't even do that...this sucks =(
