Help problem win2k update ---> cannot boot anymore

Last night I was (yes) again stupid enough to try windows update... i have tried this before (TWICE) with win2k (US VERSION) and now it happened with win2k (dutch version):

after a while it needs to reboot during setup. When it does, i get my os-selection screen (C=win2k; d=win98) so i chose c. then i get the black windows loading screen, followed by a "nice colored one" 😀 followed by a nice blue one :disgust:

OUCH!

please help me.... WHY does this happen with me????
