help, problem please!!!

i had windows xp installed, and wanted to install windows 2000, so i used partition magic 8 to make a partition, all was well, everything worked...i install windows 2000, works flawlessy, then i decide of sick of 2000 and decide to go back to xp, it boots up i choose xp and it doesnt work! gives some missing or corrupted file error....i can see from 2000 all my stuff is still there, so i think just the boot loader for xp got screwed, what can i do? thanks...

not sure how to help you, i've gotten a similar error a couple times and just reinstalled

on an interesting note, it errored when I did a quick format instead of full format.

theres gotta be a way to fix this, i can see from 2000 all my xp stuff is there........
