*sigh*
well the problems started on monday. I turned on my computer and one of the 'hives' in win2k was corrupted, so after trying to restrore it unsuccessfully, I decided to reinstall windows, however, the reinstall failed and I had to reformat. Once I installed windows, the setup started crashing and managed to complete on the fourth try. Now I am in windows, but it seems to crash every now and then, especially when I am restarting it.
I suspect that its either the memory (PC133 micron) or hard drive (Maxtor 40gb). I put the memory frequency down to 100 and it seems to crash less, but still crashes.
What really annoys me is that is was working fine until sunday.
does anyone have any clue what could be wrong?
