Help (probably easy) Win98se to 2k file sharing problem

Hello all!

I have 2 machines 1 2k and 1 98se, on a d-link switch with a router for my broadband. Everything is fine accessing files on the 98 machine from the 2k machine but everytime I try to log into the 2k machine it wants a password that is not my admin password or any other password the win2k machine logs in as admin and both are set to the same workgroup, ANy help would be great.
Thanks in advance
Kevin

There are 2 solutions to your problem:

1) enable guest account on your win2k box and have the win98 box login as guest

2) the recommended method: setup an account on the win2k box for the win98 box. The username and password must be EXACTLY the same as the one you use to login to the win98 box (when Windows 98 start, there should be a pop-up dialog prompting you for the username and password. Those are the ones you need to use for the account in the win2k box).
