Help! Power Supply Nightmare.

I am having interminnant problem with my computer.

It suddenly powers down, while doing my work.
Then when I try to start again. It won't start.

Then when I turn off the switch in the back of power supply and turn it back on. It works fine.

Then after some time, it shuts down again.

I just replaced power supply 2 month ago because my previous power supply was burnt out.

And another thing, I also heard that Intel cpu has come kind of code that power down computer when CPU overheats. I don't know if that is the case here

Please help me.

Here is my config:
PII 400
A-OPEN ZX motherboard
GeForce 256 video card
and all usual stuff.

Well, have you checked overheating? Have you checked the PS overheating? Have you considered that your PS might be overloaded and is shutting itself down?
