The other day I came home and my Sceptre 22inch widescreen lcd would not resume from it's power saving state. I thought a simple restart would cure the problem, but it didn't... Below are my computers stats and what I've done to troubleshoot the issue along with a short Cliffs:
STATS:
Video Card = Nvidia 6800GT 256mb PCI-E
It has 2 DVI outputs.
Monitor 1 = Sceptre X22WG (22inch widescreen lcd)
It has a DVI, VGA and HDMI input.
Monitor 2 = Samsung SyncMaster 710n (17 inch lcd)
It has only a VGA input.
Power Supply = OCZ Modstream 520w PS
Motherboard = MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum SLI
My setup is a dual monitor setup with the Sceptre lcd going directly into the video card's DVI port and the Samsung lcd going into the other DVI port on the video card with a DVI-to-VGA adapter. For the past 2 1/2 months, there have been no problems whatsoever with the setup until the other day when the Sceptre lcd wouldn't get a signal from the DVI.
TROUBLESHOOTING:
1) Shutting down the computer, leaving unplugged for an hour and then plugging it back in and starting it up.
2) Repeating step 1, except this time on the monitor.
3) Replacing the DVI cable with a brand new one that works.
4) Switching the power cable directly to the power outlet on the wall for the computer.
5) Removing two IDE hard drives from the power to see if it was a power supply issue. Also removed internal wireless card.
6) Since motherboard is SLI, there are 2 PCI-E slots. I removed the card from the initial PCI-E slot and put it into the other slot.
7) Checked video card for swollen or leaking capacitors or broken fan. (None present)
8) Tried the other DVI port to see if it would work on the other video card port.
9) Checked voltage in the BIOS for PCI-E and loaded default settings.
All the above failed to get me a signal on the Sceptre LCD on the DVI. However, when I put a DVI-to-VGA adapter on and attach the VGA cable to my monitor, I get a signal. The Samsung monitor doesn't have a problem at all getting a signal and has not. I've switched adapter and made sure that both work with the Sceptre, and they do with the DVI-to-VGA adapters. Previously, my roommate and I have tripped the circuits on the power breaker a few times. All my electronics are in surge protectors however. Does anyone have any suggestions for troubleshooting? Is my video card bad, or is my monitor bad? Nothing else has been giving me problems on my computer, it works flawlessly besides this recent issue. *Side note, my northbridge fan doesn't work anymore and I'm not sure how long it has been like that. Like I said, I've noticed no other issues on my computer.

1) Computer used to work with dual monitors for 2-3 months.
2) Sceptre lcd won't work on DVI, but will with VGA when using DVI-to-VGA adapter.
3) Other DVI port with VGA adapter works on the LCD Samsung monitor.
