I am looking to build a new PC. Thinking about XP2500 333FSB (ps scan.co.uk say only this can i assume it is 512 cache??), Corsair 512Mb DDR PC3200, 120Gb Seagate Barracuda Serial ATA (ATA-150) (7200rpm, 8MB Cache), EPOX 8KRA2+ KT600 DDR400 400fsb x8AGP +Lan+USB2+ATA133 RAID+SATA+6CH Audio+1394, Any well cooled case, CDRW, DVD, average sound (onbrd) and i don't need a monitor or GPU. I have £600 to spend can anyone see anywhere my spec could be improved?

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Why the KT600 over nForce 2? nForce2 still outperforms the KT600 is I do recall. You would then have to get two sticks of RAM to take advantage of dual channel DDR i.e. 2 x256 or 2 x512mb.

Asus, Epox and I've heard from other members, the Epox boards are pretty good for overclocking.

Make sure its revision 2 on those boards, or the latest revision.
