HELP! Plextor not seen in Win2K

I upgraded the Firmware on my Plextor 12x10x32A (to 1.5 & 1.7) and now Win2K does not see it. I had to boot into Win98 to flash it because the program would not work in Win2K.

Also, the unit has a hard time burning CD's, would not write to them before the Firmware upgrade (thats why I did it).

Please Help!

Hey dude, I had this problem once. The Plextor blokes told me to uninstall any program that may install its own ASPI, like Windows Media Player 7 and Plextor Manager. It's a good idea to have only one program for burning, and that program should be Nero, cause Nero is some good Sh!t. Forbidden word my arse..
 
That's what I did when I heard I had to uninstall some crap, figured I'd just start out clean. Works great now, cept I can't get it to work in DMA mode in Windows 2000.
