HELP PLEASE

Hi i just bought this system
900 mhz thunderbird
chrome orb
Abit kt7a motherbird
128 megs pc100( accidentally but itll be replaced)
64 megs radeon
300 watt power supply

For some reason the computer wont display an image or startup from the motherboards memory itself... oh yeh i just started puttin this computer together... and i used two different video coards which work on my other comp but not on this one... and my monitor work perfectly as well

Make sure your CPU Heatsink/fan combo is plugged into fan connector number 1 on the motherboard. It won't boot without it.

Can you put a bootable floppy in the drive and watch the system access it and act like it's booting? Or is the system just powering up and hanging before anything shows on the screen?
