After playing for about 5mins sometimes less i always get this :

I format'd Twice, changed my bios 3 times, bought new ram and tryed old,new and beta video drivers..

I have a 3200 Barton with 1ghz Crucial Ballistix DDR (3200) with an ASUS A7N8X Deluxe using a Geforce FX 5950 Ultra..

I don't know what more to do if anyone can point me in the right direction..

...have you tried a new CPU? If you dont have one handy, you can always try disabling the L2 cache on the chip in the BIOS to see if its faulty. Expect there to be a performance drop, but if you dont get the error msgs, then you know the cpu is bad.

It sounds like a memory error.

I'm sure you've already tried this, but be sure to run everything at stock speeds, and you might even load the conservative settings in the BIOS just to see if that makes a difference.

Have you tried different Nvidia drivers? It doesn't seem to be a video-related problem though.

Well the odd part is everything other then CS:Source runs fine..

Doom3 works perfectly getting around 100fps
windows xp runs stable..

so i dont know why CS:Source would only be affected?

The reference to memory not being able to be "read" has nothing to do with the physical memory in the system (it could, but it isn't likely). That is just a system message saying that the software is trying to access a memory address that the program does not have access to (i.e. a memory leak in the software). This could either be a bug in CS:Source, or perhaps an issue with either your sound card or video drivers (or even motherboard drivers). Make sure that you have the latest DirectX and that all of your hardware drivers are up-to-date. Check with Valve as well to make sure it isn't a known issue.
