Help Please with Rig not detecting RAID drivers from Floppy?

I have been on a mission for about a week to get four 750GB Hard drives deleted or changed into regular hard drives. I have been running into issue after issue, and now a new one. I went to the ASUS support site to get the RAID drivers for my Server MOBO, I downloaded three of them to be sure I got the right one.
So I boot up my Server (Which has a damaged OS so i can't just start the OS and use it) and put the Floppy with Said RAID drivers on it. I got a message stating 'Not a system disk please insert system disk and strike any key'.
So i then put my WIN XP disk in to go through the steps as if i was installing window. Like before it said 'Could not detect or find any hard drives please hit F6 to install SSCI Drivers'
So I put the floppy disk in to load the RAID drivers and i get this Error message!!
"the file txtsetup.oem could not be found press any key to continue"
What the heck does that mean? I though i finally had everything i needed to delete this RAID setup and now I have no idea what this error message means.
I am using a ASUS P5M2-M Server MOBO with a XEON 3070 CPU on it.
Is there no such thing as a program you can burn onto a CD or DVD and put into your Rig to completely Delete everything on your hard drives including the RAID setup?
Because this process of getting the right RAID drivers on to a Floppy disk just isn't working.
Does anyone know for sure which driver I need to put onto a floppy disk so I can load this RAID storage utility so i can delete the RAID setup?

That link is to the ASUS support site for the Server MOBO. So which one do i need to down load?
Because I already grabbed the three SATA ones

Those are the right one to pick from right?
I am just unsure of the Exact one to get.
Please I need some help with this frustrating issue.
But as i stated, I already copied all three of those drivers onto a floppy disk and it did not work. Do i need to do something else for the Server to read the floppy disk?

There should be a message during the POST phase that instructs you which key (usually F10 or F11) to access the RAID setup. From there you should be able to break the array.

While there, check to see that it is set to the expected settings as something may have changed it to IDE mode and this could be what trashed your OS in the first place AND that may be repairable by re-establishing the RAID the way it originally was configured.

did you copy the drivers to floppy ... or did you extract the installation package and copy that folder to the floppy? there should be a txtsetup.oem at the root of the a:\ drive in order for windows xp to see it and install the drivers.

Each of the Three Drives came a RAR'd file. So I un Rared them then copied them to the floppy. What way are you suppose to copy files of this nature?
@ Swampster
When I try to load the drivers from floppy nothing happens?
Thanx for trying to help me🙂

Make sure there are only files on the floppy, no folders.

datwater pretty much spelled it out for you.

Files, not folders. Explore the floppy, what do you see?

However, I think you're taking the long way around this.

Make sure the drives are not in a RAID array in the BIOS. The RAID is then broken. Do what you wish with the drives.

If you need to wipe them, download the utility to do so from the manufacturer.

If there are others issues going on here, you need to explain better. Your last post reads a little on the bizarre side. Specifically, "@ Swampster ". what's that all about?

I'm uncertain where you want to end up.

My problem in short is this. I have Four Hard drives that I purchased that are in a RAID Setup that I want to break or delete. But i don't have the proper Setup disks to do this. I would like to just go into the BIOS and break the RAID setup, But how is that done without the RAID Drivers being on a floppy?
And to put the RAID drivers on a floppy, I open the driver folder then copy all the small files?
I'll try that and post back, I hope this works (Fingers and legs Crossed,LOL)

You don't need files to get into your BIOS.

Enter the BIOS and break the array.

Think of it as reversing the process. Initially, you set up the array in the BIOS. No files, no floppies, no OS. Just go into the BIOS and delete the array. Problem solved.

EDIT: ********** Wait a minute, wait a minute.

Are these drives new to you? In other words, YOU never had them in an array? Just do as you wish with the drives. When you partition and format them, they will work just fine.

Is there no such thing as a program you can burn onto a CD or DVD and put into your Rig to completely Delete everything on your hard drives including the RAID setup?

Download the utility to do so from the HD manufacturer.
Use this site for a quick link to your manufacturers utility.

No, These drives are in a RAID array right now. I am trying desperately to delete the RAID format.
If there is a quick way to go into the BIOS without the RAID drivers then can you please tell me how for a ASUS P5M2-m Server MOBO.
I have never done this before and have been asking around for four days now. I have another thread on this site relating to this issue.
I have been told that I need to have the RAID Drivers on a floppy disk to do it. So if you have a quick fix plese share.
All I want ti s to have these drives turned back to regular Hard drives to use in a WIN xp Install!!
Is that too much too ask?

the raid setup should be coming up after the inital boot screen, like swampster stated, as long as the drive are on the raid ports on the motherboard and they are enabled in the BIOS.

Well guys, i just want to say thank you very much for your patience with my Questions. The issue wasn't that I was doing something wrong. I was hitting Control+I to get into the Matrix storage manager when the RAID jumper was set to LSI RAID config. So once I saw that is was on that I looked in the manual how to get into the LSI Utility (Control+M) and I was in. Clicked on the Clear config and Bam I was done. Went back into BIOS switched the IDE Config from RAID back to standard SATA and I am now Formatting XP on one of the Hard drives.
WOW, What a head case that was. Here I was thinking that I needed RAID drivers when they were embedded all along, DOH!!
Thank you all for your help and Patience🙂

well, you'd need them if you were turning this into a server and using XP, the Ctrl-M, and Ctrl-I are not drivers, they are just the managers to check and maintain raid setups.

glad you took time to finally read the manual, best of luck in the rest of your endeavors.

you could try to incorporate the drivers into the actual os install using nlite. Thats what I did to get my sata drivers working correctly.
