I have a physical hard drive that I am partitioning under NT4. The disk admin allows me to create either two primary partitions or a primary partition and a logical/extended partition, is there any benefits/cons to setting up my hard drive either way? Is there a preferred method to setup the partitions? Thanks.

With DOS or win9x it can affect drive letters. With winnt this makes little difference, as you can change drive letters as you wish. Advantage of extended partition is you can create more than one logical drive within it, if you wish.

Right, you can have as many partitions on a drive, but you have to have 1 primary partition. (ex. 10GB \ 5 = 2gb partitions)
