help please with 3D Prophet II MX PCI video card

i had a AGP version 3d prophet 2 mx card and recently for
my curiosity, i bought a retail PCI version 3d prophet 2 mx
and since then the card is not working correctly.

the problem is it gives 987 3Dmark 2000 score at 640*480 16-bit!! the old AGP version gives >6300 all the time!!

i used the 7.25 driver and i really can not see any problems
in the hardware, anyone can help me to detect what the problem
is? THANKS!

That will be part of your problem. MXs are crippled when they sit on a PCI bus.

nothing there can help, but PCI slot won't cause
that much difference in 3dmark score, i have voodoo3
pci giving >3000, so i think must be some problems
my setting or driver, (but driver is from Hercules
download site, should have no problem)
