HELP please! Rebooting of computer when playing games...

I have been having bad game performance lately. Mainly in Vietnam and painkiller. Both are updated fully with the latest patches. With painkiller it reboots my entire computer and i get this message in error report.

I am not sure what is wrong. Also, sometimes when inserting a disk into my toshiab sd-r5272 dvd combo drive, it will lock up windows. I can only restart to fix. This problem is sporadic. I cannot find a firmware update for this drive anywhere. Any help would be appreciated

btw, i dont like how that file is in the temp folder...... dunno, does BFVietnam put that stuff its running in temp?

I am not sure about the vietnam thing. What is bad about the temp folder exactly? Also, I will follow your sg link to see what you mention

I seem to have fixed the problem. I think i had a shoddy display driver. I reinstalled 4.8 cats and all is well, painkiller running excellent. Bodies flying everywhere lol. Whole ocmputer seems to be running better.
