I want to use it as a OpenVPN bridge for my Amped router with the Amped router handling all the routes.
I got the mega download from DD-WRT and it tells me that update failed when I upload it to the Linksys and if I hit the back button on IE explorer it continues to update all the way to 98% and just hangs there.
I notice on the DD-WRT router site that this router can be flashed with mega v2 PreSP@ whatever that means. Is there a way to flash the Linksys with an older official firmware then flash it to DD-WRT mega? If so where would I find such a file?
Can the E1200 be used as a OpenVPN bridge?

I got the problem with the download fixed by using IE.
Now I have a new problem, the default login does not work. I have tried 30-30-30 six times and it always rejects my login admin pw admin.

nevermind I found it but thanks
You are the worst kind of forum poster.

In the future, leave behind useful information for someone who might be having the same problem.

How is he worse than some rude, pompous jackass noob criticizing a long time member who politely let others know he had resolved his problem and didn't want them to spend further time on it?

Seriously, dude, your priorities suck!

just flash using the mini, the beta link is not there anymore where I found it. I think that you will be ok using the mini as it has the same name as the one I downloaded several months back- flash first to mini then mega

Yeah, pretty sure that's in the wiki. Always flash mini first to get DD-WRT on the router, then flash mega.
