hey everyone. i am trying to overclock my duron 800 to at least 950 or a GHz. i dont know much about it and i dont wanna hurt it because i just got both my motherboard and chip a week ago. i am getting a K7T Pro2-A and like i said a Duron 800. I also just ordered 256mb of PC133 Ram and i already have 128mb of i think PC100 ram...another question i have concerning my ram is will i have to turn both of them down to 100MHz just be because the 128 is at 100? or can i have one running at 133Mhz and one at 100 Mhz? i have some more probs that im gonna list, i know this is getting to be an extensive job to answer all of this, but i need help desperately. i am running Win2K with a 7200Rpm 20gig Western Digital HDD and right now its only on ATA/33. when i try to plug it into ATA/66, it wont turn on. off subject for a sec...is the K7T Pro2-A the same no matter who you order it from? i ordered it from microstar, and everyone on here said they got an MSI K7T Pro2-A...that may be a rather newbie question, but i really dont know. is there anything else i need to know in order for my computer to work successfully? i have a voodoo5 5500 by the way, will it have any probs? will there be sound card probs?
another thing about the CPU..what do i put the voltage to? what do i change to overclock it? how fast can i make it go?
anyone that can address ANY of these issues can be my best friend haha.
