Help Please: I have a Netgear Wireless MR814 router and want to change the antenna to increase the range

Anyone know where I can get a new antenna to increase the range on the router...I saw a post that implied you could increase the range with a new antenna

have u checked newegg.com? THey might have antennaes, and on the question of it increaseing range, i don't know, sorry, but i guess if u get multi dir. antenneas that could make a differance, but the range, i don't know

Putting it on the Signal Source (Wireless Router, or Access Point) + a good location, should yield substantial increase.

Putting it on the Wireless Card is usually a waste.

I would change the antenna on the router ...its detachable
