I neeed to get this compute built by manana. When I try to boot something up in the CDROM it says a kernal32.dll file is missing and then another message pops up saying that the device attached to this system is not functioning.
I have my hard drive as master and a burner as slave in primary. Then I have my CDROM as master on secondary.
ANy ideas please help, I will try research now but I really need a quick fix for this one I must move on cause I know other problems will pop up.

I'm not sure if this will help but hopefully.

If the problem is that you need the computer to simply boot up, get rid of ALL CD drives accept for 1.

Then, set it as the master on the second IDE port or SCSI port (which ever type of connection you have).

The hard drive should be the master on IDE or SCSI port 1.

It's best to keep both primary for the smoothness and overall flow of operations.

Then, just start that pig up with a Boot Disk, format the hard drive, and reinstall the OS.

Best of Luck!
