Help please. Can't log into Windows XP Home

Everything was fine last night. This morning when I turned on the computer it boots to a windows log in page (blue) that say OWNER. (where did that come from). It wants a password. Unfortunately I don't know the password. I don't remember creating one either.
I ran a spyware program last night, Spy Catcher, that's the only thing I can think of that that would have changed the settings.
I can boot into safe mode with network connections. that's where I am now.

I'd like to get into regular windows. Any ideas?

I can get in as an adminstrator in safe mode. I changed the password. When I tried to use the password to get into regular windows it didn't work.

When I try to use the password I get this.

The System cannot log you on because the domain YOUR-(some number with letters) is not available.

Apparently this was the problem not the password.

Help please..

Thanks.

Looks like a possible reinstall?

Restore to an earlier date didn't woork. Microsofts knowledgebase only refers to Windows 2000?

I had this issue with a laptop I was working on. Perhaps it's a new virus/spyware/maleware. I just reinstalled Windows.
