Someone help? Have no clue why computer is not booting up properly.

I have a older system that I built a while back, Shuttle AV61 with a Celeron 266.
I turn it on and you can hear it doing the POST (but no initial beep don't rememeber if it ever did that), testing the memory but that's it. No video signal at all. Thought it was the Video card, got another one doesn't work. AGP or PCI, or different PCI slots. Cleared the CMOS, reinserted everything. Monitor works hooked up to another system. No diagnostic beeping.

Did I fry the MB? or something else (CPU died, *glup*). Thanks!

Try switching out the power supply. Might have died out. Hope this helps.

also make sure that the system speaker is hooked up properly to the motherboard to ensure that you aren't missing any beep codes.

GOD never thought of that! It worked, switched it back and the other one works but It sounds a bit weak so maybe I should switch it out. Thank you, thank you!

DaiShan, methinks the speaker is broken or something, never works correctly, oh well. Thanks!
