Help please -- 23 pins instead of 24?? is that right?

I just received my psu and saw that in the main connection there were 23 pins instead of 24, is that correct? i am a psu newbie so here is the ascii art.

1....2...3...4..5...6...7...8...9..10.11.12

that is how the end of the cable looks. In the 8th slot there is nothing whatsoever, completely empty. Across in the other row is the grey wire if that helps.

Are all the slots suppossed to be full? or is this right?

It's missing the -5v rail, which is according to the ATX2.01 standard. Will work fine in all but the new MSI Sli boards, with the onboard Creative sound chip---which needs the -5v rail to work properly. ;)

phew... wait so i'm guessing everything is correct then. Its suppossed to be empty there. ? :-D
