Help picking a system mother board and a few other issures.

I am about to build a new system for some light gaming and other things. I was looking at the Biostar I945P-A7.
Here is my delima I have 2 new hard drives I can use for the system but they are all ata drives this board is sata.
So I would either have to get new drives or use a convertor.
Should I pick a new board or what.
I really could use any help asap.
