Question Help pick a CPU to pair with 1050ti for Skyrim and Assassin's Creed Valhalla

Title is the short of this topic.

My wife bought Skyrim and Assasin's Creed Valhalla. She will be playing on 1080p monitor. Low settings is fine.

I have a 1050ti in hand so it will be what is used for now. I may upgrade to something else later on.

I will be buying a case, MB, cpu, and memory(maybe) Used is fine and probably preferred (cost)

Right now, I'm leaning AMD. Since cost is a driving factor, what is a 'good' generation or model?

No PS or case... so rated at 100MW of available power because of the nuclear plant I live in 😎

Sadly, I'm 10 miles outside of nowhere(US) and further 20 miles to small somewhere with a Safeway😀

As odd as it sounds, I've had good luck getting used computer equip off ebay.

Depending on your desired budget, you can get a new Ryzen 5600 from wal-mart.com right now for $100. pretty solid CPU for the price, and later down the road if you wanted to upgrade the AM4 you can swap in a 5700X3D for a huge boost.
