Help!! PCI problems!!

Ok, I just recieved my new a7v. Everything seems to be running ok, but I have a major problem with one pci slot that I can't figure out. Whenever I plug a pci card into the third pci slot, windows locks hard on the splash screen. No matter what card I try! All the cards work fine when placed in other slots. But for some reason that third pci slot locks windows everytime. I have the via drivers installed, and bios settings are at defaults. Any one else have this prob?
