Hi...

Well, i donno wat happened with my PC. Last time i used it...it was workin' fine. Went out for the weekend on saturday, suday when i cmae back... the f***** PC wouldn't turn ON.

I've checked the power connections and everything. My PC is actually connected to an UPS, along with the monitor and my speakers. I checked the power supply (shorted the two pins...) and only the two LEDs on the front of the case lighted.

So wat's wrong with it??
Is it the mobo or wat?

Plz HEELP!

Unplug the PSU power cables from everything in the system (leave the power cord connected to the PSU). Use a paperclip or wire to short the one green wire on the ATX power connector with any of the black wires. If it turns on, then the PSU ought to be good, so you could have a bad mainboard. Plug in just the mainboard power connectors and try it without any peripherals connected.

could be anything. Take the mobo out of the case and plug in 1 stick of memory the CPU and your video card and see what you get.

MY PSU IS DEEEEAAADDD.....

Damn, now I hv to send it back to the shop since is still under warranty or get another one...

One question... wat could have caused the power supply to die just like that. Cuz, the PSU was connected to a UPS.
How could it die??? The PC was off... It doesn't power the monitor...How??? How???

Could somebody plz at least try to explain me this so i can prevent future deaths and funerals...lol

Thanks a bunch!

I don't think the UPS is defective.

I have a Powerlogic Atrix 500W...

When I left the PC, I left it with a multicard reader and a 256MB PenDrive connected to both of my USB ports that are located on the front panel of my case. Could that have been the reason why it died???
