help! paper topic...

So for some reason i'm having trouble coming up with a good International Relations topic for my paper(5-8 pgs). Can anyone throw some suggestions/topics out there that I can find information relatively easily? All help is much appreciated

US and United Nations. From what I've seen the US doesn't bother with regulations, 'cause they're way too powerful to give a damn. Maybe you could shed some insight on how/why that is.
