Several weeks ago I accidentally dropped my Palm IIIxe, which cracked the glass, but not the digitizer. This display worked fine, and the buttons did as well, just the screen was no longer responding to taps (as well as had large cracks running through it).
I purchased a screen from gethightech.com. I followed their directions, and all seemed well. Upon inserting the batteries, the normal Palm initialization screen appeared for a second and then dissapeared. When I press buttons and tap on the screen, the Palm responds with noises. I double checked everything, and it seems fine.
What's wrong? Thanks for any help.
