The more I read the posts the more confused I get! In my bios I had the options of cpu speed: manual, 1800, 2400. I chose 2400, and the cpu/pci frequency became 133/33. I'm using 512MB of Crucial pc2100, so I set the cpu/memory frequency at 1:1 (which I assume is correct for pc2100?). My CPU Vcore is at default, 1.52v. My temps in Asus pc probe maxed out at 51C in games and benchmarks. Everything in Windows (XP) reports the cpu speed as 2400MHz. This seems too easy, am I screwing something up? I haven't run any day long repeating programs to really tax it, but I have never had a crash or hang yet. Oh, I am using the stock HSF (it's a retail 1.8 w/512k). I don't mean to sound stupid, but all of my past o/c'ing was with Amd's quite a while back. I also read that I need to update the bios and pc probe to get an accurate reading of temp, but what is the safe zone for temps? Also, with these settings, are my agp/pci frequencies still default?

I know I have alot of questions, but answers for any of them help!
Thanks

133 FSB is a virtual guarantee with 1.6A or 1.8A, at default voltage. Sometimes a slight boost is needed, but not usually. I'd recommend running 24 hours of Prime95 just to make sure.

AMD overclocking? Bah. Why settle for 100-200MHz when you can go for 1GHz+ overclocks? :D :)
