HELP! Overflow at gas station

This happens rarely but it has happened to me when I was filling up the gas tank. The gas overflows when I put it on automatic. It happened to me the last time I filled up the gas tank. Is there something wrong with my gas tank or is it a problem with the pump? And also, I fill up my gas at 76, iuno if that helps. Should I just fill up the tank manually from now on? Any help would be appreciated =\

God does not like you

fill it up manually from now on or just pay the extra $.15 it'll cost when you see it start to over flow

For some reason, most/all gas stations here take out the little trigger that sticks the pump in the [pumping] mode... so people just stick their gas cap in there to hold it... and even that is stated illegal to do so.

Is this just NY ?

I know its a hyperbole, but I would definitely buy a computer that could do that.

Be glad you are able to pump it. In Oregon and one state south of you, the legislature has deemed you too mentally incompetent to pump your own gas

I get the reverse, can't put the pump nozzle too far into the car or else the pump stops after pumping fuel for a second or two..

Seriously. I'd pay good money to not have to put my hand that close to my own dook.

Rent one of those bums with those signs will work for food. I normally trade them some taco bell nachos to wipe my @ss.

Hey if they charge the same price as self-serve, they can pump it for me. 🙂 And who do they think is INCOMPETENT ?!?!!?

What's the state below me?

😉

Recreating the gasoline fight from Zoolander?

I usually put it on automatic, clean my windshield, and make it back before it's done and lower the speed to make sure it doesn't spill on the outside. It's not good for the paint if it does.
