Help overclocking p4b533-v

I'm new to all this, and just about ready to jump into overclocking.

I have:
p4 2.26b
p4b533-v
PC3000 cas 2 memory

I've already been running with the 3:4 cpu/memory ratio.

My overclock plan is to lock the AGP/PCI frequency setting to manual (66/33), and then gradually increment the CPU external frequency (FSB) to see what I can reach.

First off, is this the correct approach, or should I leave the AGP/PCI settings on auto?

The thing that really worries me is not being sure I can undo my settings. I am planning on doing all this in the bios (jumperless). Is it possible that I push this too far and can no longer
get into the bios to undo it? I've been hunting around for some secret key to restore defaults before post but I cannot find one. Does this exist?
I suspect that chances are pretty slim that I'd hit this problem, but I want to make sure I can handle it if it did happen.

thanks
brian

Sounds like a good plan. As long as you take it easy you should at least be able to get into the bios and change settings back.
good luck and read some of the other threads with your board.
