I did have a question about the guide, it said if you were running into stability problems, you should gradually raise the QPI/VTT voltages. It didn't say to raise the vcore at all.

Did you read all of it? The point is to do your oc in steps. First step is finding the required qpi/vtt voltage for a particular bclk. Next is finding the required vcore for a particular cpu multi.

But first get familiar with your bios, find out how to disable turbo boost and google any other settings you don't know. I'll say this now though, if you want to use the 22x multi you must disable c3/c6 states, else your cpu will use full turbo boost which will likely be unstable.

Thanks for the tips and also showing me your bios. I did find the turbo boost setting which was hidden away in another sub menu. When I tried those original settings from Burpo I couldn't bet my computer to get past the first splash screen, it would then reboot and show an error. I might try and start from scratch. I also read that article a little mroe carefully because I missed where i said that vcore was for boosting multiplier and vtt/qpi was for bclk.

To adjust the bclck they want you to lower the multiplier to 15 and first find a stable bclck.

I think i started with the lowest multiplier i could, cant remember but it probably was 15, and also lower ur memory to like DDR3 800 then it elimenates them from being a problem so you can try find a stable blck.
