Help overclocking an ASUS A7N8X motherboard

I have an ASUS A7N8X motherboard with an Athlon XP 1700 thunderbird. It does not appear to be multiple-unlocked.

The only overclocking settings (non multiplier related) I see are changing from a 100 to 133 to 166 FSB speed. My processor has been running flawlessly at 166 FSB (like 1826 mhz or something) for a long time now.

Is there not a way to increase the FSB any more? Seems funny that such a well-rated motherboard would not have 1-mhz FSB increments and not go beyond a 166 mhz FSB. Perhaps I am just missing the option.

Also, whenever I restart the computer, I get a "Warning, CPU is overspeed" message. I have to reboot again to get rid of the message. Anybody know how I can get rid of this?

Thanks for any help.

Look on page 55 of your manual, see the setting for System Performance? Set that to User Defined, or Expert, whichever it uses these days. Also, lock your [/b]AGP Frequency[/b] at 66MHz and Memory Frequency at 100%.

This is the type of question that would've fit better in Motherboards, but there you go, hope it helps :)
