Hey Gang,

I've just started playing with a combinaton of a Biostar Tforce 965PT, E4300 and a stick (1GB) of Patriot PC6400.

At the moment, I'm at 3,195MHz, via 9x 355. I can't seem to get beyone the 355 though. This is my first C2D setup, so maybe it's just something that is known (this limit) but I thought it worth asking.

My settings at the moment are

Memory @ 400 (1:1) resulting in actual freq of 355MHz
Mem V = 1.8 (default, since mem is BELOW rated speed at the moment)
CPU = 1.4v
FSB Term = 1.4v
MCH = 1.55v
ICH = 1.2
PCIe = Locked at 100
CPU Bus = 355
CPU Multi = 9x

Mem Settings:

CAS: 4
RAS-CAS: 4
RAS Pre: 4
Tras: 4
Comm Rate: 2

These are the default settings for this memory at 400, so since it's at 355, I didn't change anything.

What I'd like would be to be able to have the CPU on an 8x multiplier with the FSB at 400. That would put me at 3.2GHz with the memory running right at spec.

Any ideas on what I might be able to change to go farther than I have right now?

Thanks!

Joe

The board is pretty capable, your CPU might be holding you back though. Otherwise just add more voltage to everything and cool the NB.
