help overclock celeron 300

excuse for my little english
i have mobo m726 pcchips, 64mb ram 133, ati rage xl videocard, celeron 300 on slot 1.
i have change fbs to 100 mhz, i have change ram latency, i have break pin b21 but nothing
after 3 -4 seconds win98 boot go to crash.
have an idea?

Not sure what breaking that pin does for you (not familiar with that), but most likely you need to increase your voltage somehow.

Maybe its a too big a jump.

Try slowly increasing the FSB in increments, so that you can find one frequency that works.

If I remember correctly, the Celeron 300A can do 450 out of the box @ 100FSB. It's a pretty common OC when it first came out. Not sure what other things you have to do with the processor to get it at that speed; but I'm sure there are lots of pple who bought that processor last time as it was a bargain due to the L2 cache at full speed.
