I don't have any viruses or anything. Outlook is behaving very oddly. When I do a send/receive, it says it checks email, and that's it. No new mail arrives. Then I check my POP box manually, and the mail I had waiting there is gone. It's basically just wiping it off the server, and never showing me the email.

I'm a power user, and this has me stumped. I have no f'ing idea what's going on, but it's serious.. I wonder how much email this thing has already eaten up. It was behaving perfectly until I cloned my HD and am using the new HD now. But everything else seems to work fine.. cloning the HD shouldn't have caused anything odd to happen.

Any ideas?

Hmm, maybe the cloning processed screwed up. I used the Seagate tool that came with the SATA drive. A lot of my program icons are screwed up too. Maybe I'd better use a real program like Norton Ghost...

The icons are trying to link to invalid locations like:

%SystemRoot%\Installer\{big_long_guid}\NewShortcut1_big_long_guid

The first thing I would check is to make sure mail delivery is pointing to the correct inbox.

(insert link titled "fix here" with a link to thunderbird despite the fact that that is not the answer the OP is looking for)

I used to use Thunderbird, actually. I switched when Outlook 2003 came out.. lots of nice features. The Mozilla team couldn't even fix simple things like showing the paper clip (attachment) icon until you actually click/read an email.
