My roomie was cooking some potatos and he tossed the skin into the in-sink-erator and turned it on...but the thing is that it didn't "eat" it or whatever it does. After a while, it just regurgiated everything in some white puree substance with bits of potato skin...and it smells HORRIBLE

The best we can get is it takes in the stuff, but it vomits it right out, and this smell is ungodly horrible guys....is there anything we can do? It smeels REALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL RANK

But seroius...ANY help would be appreaciated because we are noobs when it comes to a sink

Have you tried draino? Whenever our garbage disposal gets to smelling stinky I run some hot water and bleach through it, then quarter up a couple of lemons and "feed" them to the disposal. Leaves it smelling right purty. :)

Uh.. yeah. You mean the garbage disposal.

It doesen't just disappear.. It is chopped up, and then it goes down the drain.

As for your problem.. bleach will solve the odor problem until you can get your drain unclogged.

Fill the sink wiith water (both sides). Plug the side without the disposal. Turn it on and plunge.

Or you can just take the drain apart under the sink and clean out all of the junk that you have stuck in there. It might be a little messy but it should get the job done. This happened to me with egg sheels and taking the drain apart fixed it. Just make sure you have a bucket under there so it does not leak on the ground.
