Help opening a mac-created Powerpoint presentation on a PC...

I sent the file to myself via email from school, but the school computers that I did the project on are Mac's, and the file that got sent has no extension... I tried to name it a .ppt but it still won't open on my PC Powerpoint..


any ideas? Any help would be MUCH appreciate because I need to finish this presentation asap :(

In my experience Word, Excel and Power point files open when clicked on even if they have no extention (in windows, from a mac).

Since this isn't working, open powerpoint and open it from there by selecting 'all file types' when you look for it to open.

The thing about email, is that it's likely compressed somehow. Rename it to .zip or something similar, and let WinRar/WinZip take a crack at it; I'm willing to bet it's still base64 encoded.

If nothing works, you will have to go back on campus and rename it to *.ppt and email it again :(

It may depend on office versions, like office xp files can sometimes not be opened in office 97, that happened to me before and i had to redo my whole presentation.
