Please bring me up to date. I haven't built a machine in 2 years and the names/choices are mind boggling.

I do no gaming or OC'ing. Just internet, wp/spreadsheets,. manage digital photos, etc. Just need a reliable, stable mb.

I would like to use my current Antec case/ps and my IDE hd's, and even the PC2700 mem if possible.

Not very exciting, huh?

Any recommedations appreciated. thanks
 
Yes, meant to specify I use AMD cpu's. Cost is not a big issue but just don't need a high-performance board. I'm looking for recommendations on specific cpu's and mb's that might meet my need.
