Help on shipping internationally

Hey guys,

What do i need to know about shipping computer equipment internationally? Who should i use? How much should i expect to pay? Do i have to clean the HD? IE no OS.. Could they possibly take away a hardrive?

i would probably check the rates of fedex and USPS global express

a quick check on usps.com says $63.60 for global express or $45.95 for airmail parcel

fedex seems to need the address info for switzerland to get a rate estimate

well i guess i can take the package to the postal office (usps) and let them help me out. Im just worried about when it goes through inspection if they will try and take the HD.
