Hi,
This is what i want to do,

Currently I have windows xp home OS + a lot of junk on my PC. So i want to format my hard drive and re install win XP home full version and have a clean start.

i have a CD writer drive so i burned all my important files on CD.

Please tell step by step how to format the hard drive, how to partition my hard drive in to two and then install XP
as soon as you can
thanks

It's real easy. Just boot the xp cd like you are going to install. When it gets to the part that it asks which drive/partition you want to install xp on you will have the options to partition and format. That is the way I do it anyhow.

You will have to delete your current partition then create new and specify the size. Then tell xp to install on the new partition. Then it will ask which file system to format to. once you get xp running again format the other partiton.
