my friend is considering buying this laptop, i would like to know if it really has ht? like it has a 533 fsb and ht? i thought ht was only on 800 fsb P4s

It's a 3.06ghz mobile P4, and yes it does have a 533mhz FSB with HyperThreading.

3.06 Ghz has the 533 FSB, the 3.0 Ghz one has the 800 Mhz FSB.

yeah anything from 2.4 Ghz, the b's and c's have hyperthreading.

The only desktop cpu with 533mhz FSB and HT is the 3.06ghz flavor.

Just to clarify, the B's do not have HT, except as noted by Wingznut. The 533 bus Prescott's also lack HT.

When you are refering to DESKTOP cpu's you are correct in saying that the only 533fb cpu with hyperthreading is the 3.06. However, when you are refering to mobile pentium 4's, that is no longer the case..
