Im looking to maybe get it from newegg to save on tax...looking to spend no more than $700

a few questions

Is a pentium M better than a core duo T2060?

Are AMD mobile semprons any good?...would rather go intel

Most laptops im looking at in this price range seem to be intel celeron M...are these descent or would I be better to get a core duo with less memory and smaller hard drive?
 
don't go with sempron, celeron, or pentium m. core duo or turion x2 should be what you look at. there are daily/weekly deals you should keep an eye out for. check the Hot Deals forum at least every couple days for a laptop or go to deal sites. there was an HP dv60xx being sold with a core duo, dvd burner, gig of ram, decent hdd, etc. for $570 a week ago. keep your eyes open
