I was gonna take advantage of the Seagate deal at frys and pick up their 200GB drive to replace my 20gig and 13gig maxtors. Right now I have my 13 gig setup as the primary OS drive with programs and the 20 gig setup for games.
I wasn't sure how to do the 200gig though. Since my 20 and 13 gig are only 2mb cache ata 66 drives I thought it best to just not use them anymore.
I was considering doing like 40gig for OS and programs (like office, money etc) and 160 gigs games, videos etc. But then I read a thing saying partitioning serves no purpose anymore. Now I have used partitions in the past if I wanted to format my main drive, but haven't formatted this computer in a year now.
So I need suggestions. Mainly its a family computer and most of my big files are games.
