Help on Intel BOX/BLK DG965WHMKR

Hello all,
I want to build a new system. Intel BOX/BLK DG965WHMKR is my first choice. I have some questions about the BIOS setting. In the BIOS, can I set the SATA hard drive to appear as PATA hard drive? Does it have PCI BIOS interface function set? Could you please give me some suggestion about other components such as CPU, RAM, HARD DRIVE, VIDEO CARD etc. My budget is below 700.
