Help on Gigabyte Motherboard GA-7s748

I had just put the system together today and everything went smoothly except when I shut down the system it doesn't shut down automatically. I'd get the message telling me that it is now safe to shut off the system.
I went into Bios and didn't see anything where it said auto shut off. I updated the lastest bios. Nothing happen.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Go into Device Management and see if it calls your computer an ACPI Uniprocessor PC (yes = good), like shown here: screenshot If not, I'm guessing that you installed Windows while your mobo was set with ACPI disabled. You need to enable ACPI in the BIOS, if there's a place to do so, and install Windows again.
