Help On Fresh Win Me install

Ok everyone, I have bought and put together what everyone said to buy,Now I try to fresh install win me and I cannot firgure it out, I went ot boot disk.com and have the boot disk it starts window installation and then comes up with if you have HPFS you have to create MS-Dos file, I thought this was dome when I partition the Hard drive? is there set by step direction anywhere? how much disk sapce to I allow on the active Partition? the first time it said it did not have enough sapce and it was 500 megs? I also have a file that it wont let me format on the hard drive called ms-ramdrive, what is this file for? do I need it?its 655,851 bytes of space.

I have the Abit KT7A-Raid , with a 1 Gig AXIA AMD Chip, 256 Crucial ram,ati video 32 ,

Make sure that you have partitioned and formatted the drive. I would recommend a partition of at least 1GB for the primary partition, preferably more.

When you boot up with the bootdisk, a RAMDRIVE is created to load the MS-DOS tools for access.

Sorry I can't help further at this point. Your post does not make much sense.
